As the quarterback for Samford, Hodges stood out for four consecutive years. His remarkable achievements include being named the Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year three times and receiving the prestigious 2018 Walter Payton Award during his senior year. Hodges set a new standard for the NCAA FCS career records, surpassing Steve McNair’s 1994 marks, with an impressive 1,310 passing completions and 1,896 attempts.
Joining the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 as an undrafted free agent, Hodges faced ups and downs.
